Two questions:

When I have a project and use the project configurations sometimes after
saving and reloading the project the correct project options set is
highlighted and sometimes none of the project options sets is highlighted
at all. I have not found a pattern in this, but the DEX file correctly
saves the last used set - e.g.:

<Options>
<ProjectSettings Value="Local:Dev"/>
</Options>

So, why doesn't that set get reactivated after loading the project again in
the IDE - or sometimes it does, sometimes not.

Along those lines: Sometimes in the "Manage Configurations" dialog under
"Project" there is an asterisk (*) to the right of a project configuration
- what does that mean?

The menu item has check mark when the current project options is *exactly*
the same that the the configuration holds.

This is the same logic that is used for the menu item. If it is not an
*exact* copy of the configuration it is marked with an asterix symbol.

Thanks for the clarification. There seem to be strange things going on in
the IDE. I activate a project configuration, save all and close the
project. Then I re-open the project. So the *exact* same settings should be
in there. The editor icon of the project file shows no changes have ocurred
- fine. Then I press Alt+P or click on the project menu and close it again
(without doing anything else) and then suddenly the editor icon changes
indicating that the project file needs to be saved (just from opening and
closing the project menu) - and thus DDevExtensions probably cannot find an
*exact* match, so no menu entry is highlighted. Strange.

I get the exact same behaviour, sometimes merely opening the project
will change some things, but WinMerge can't find them...
