I just upgraded D2005 Architect this morning, and I can no longer run
Sybase Client code from Delphi 7.
First I noticed that my Sybase BDE aliases were deleted, so I added
them back.

Then I discovered that any error from either SQL Explorer (or my
application) results in a crash.
Any idea how I should recover? I'd like to start the transition to
D2005, but I must keep my D7 for "real work".
My first step will be to remove D2005 and then re-install the D7.1
upgrade and hope that it will fix BDE...

I figured out what happened:
1) A while ago I'd upgraded from Sybase 11.9.2 to 12.5 drivers on my PC
2) When I upgraded to Delphi 2005 my BDE entries got trashed
3) when I fixed them I forgot to enter the database name !!!

In fact I'd been having some crashes related to errors with these
libraries a few weeks earlier, but since they didn't happen with my
code....
