Hello!
Some other annoyances I have noted working (not playing anymore) with D2005
Pro.
* When designing a menu, it seems that the menu item loses the focus every
time I change the property. For example, I create a menu ite and select it.
Change the name and then if I click on Caption to change the caption, the
item lose the focus and the properties of the item are gone. I must then
click again and change the caption. So creating a complex menu requires now
twice more clicks that D7.
* If you drag and drop components into your form, the cursor doesn't release
the component after putting it on the form. So if you drag and drop an
editbox and then click again on it to change its properties, you end up
having TWO edit boxes.
* If you have a PageControl with some tabs, placing a component on the las
tab makes the component to have the form (and not the tab) as the parent, so
no component can be placed directly on the tab.
* There are a lot more of big and small annoyance. D2005 is nice but it
seems non-polished and with tones of little bugs.

TPageControl seems to be behaving strangely too. I converted my project to
D2005 and, as far as I can tell, everything works fine, but whenever I close
my application, the closing of the different tabs of the Page Control
results into some hanging up and ugly user interface artefacts.
The close button of a docked window also seems to have changed between D7
and D2005, in that if someone has a different Windows theme (Mac OS/X-like
in my case), then that may screw things up (as it does in my case with
D2005, but not with D7).
So, yes, quite a lot of enhancements as part of D2005 that I realy like, but
still cannot upgrade, because of these couple of issues (there might be
others that I am not aware of though!).
Alan.
