Hi! Is possible to put a condition to like "_DEBUG" to know if a custom VLC Component is working at design time or at run time? Hi Melk, Maybe you would like to try to have a look at the TComponent::ComponentState property. Such property has a flag named csDesigning which states, literally, that "The component is in a form being manipulated by the form designer."
