Hi,

Marco said on http://blog.marcocantu.com/blog/sdc2006_netherlands.html :
"He showed the roadmap, that looks like the same, mentioned the new BDN2,
asked for suggestions about the new company name (they might run a contest),
which should start with B if possible, so they can retain names like BDS,
BDN, TeamB, and the like. "

How about "Borleve" ?

Borl<--Borland
eve <--Developer
Borleve -- sounds like "Believe" too

Your suggestion?

Hi Bear. Borleve sounds like a boredom relieving drug, like Aleve(sp?). This
subject has come up so many times that it's difficult to come up with
something new...

The Binary Bunch
The VaDelphi Code
El Coda
Beerland Technical Lavatory
Abacusdabra
Hot Pascaline Pi

I kind of like the name Brandywine, but www.brandywine.com is already
taken, as is www.belteshazzar.com -- but www.beelezebub.com seems to be
available. <eg>

What does the other end of the company
want with the "Borland" name?
Why can't they let this end be
"Borland Software Tools"?

Why use the "B" since B. leaves us. "D" from Delphi makes DDS, DDN and
TeamD sound very good.

However, the name of the Co is a different story... Why not
"Delphi"-something?

DELPHILAND, DELPHIZONE, DELPHISTORE, The Delphi Shop

or why not something really new?

RAD RESEARCH
EDE ... E(xtreme) D(elphi) E(nvironment?)
TRADLAND ... T(rue) RAD LAND
TRADZONE ... T(rue) RAD ZONE

But frankly I believe DevCo should take the Borland name with them.

YABIDEV

Yet another bloated IDE Vendor

OK. I don't really believe that 100%, but first I thought it was funny and
also I want Delphi to be more lean like it used to be.
