Buddy of mine that hangs in b.p.OODesign sent this along (reposted with
permission):

First thing I thought of when I heard "Diamondback" as the name of the
next Delphi was: hey, isn't that a snake?

Then it struck me that the last movies I saw with a snake-naming theme
was Tarantino's "Kill Bill" series, the assassins named after snakes.

Kill Bill?

*laugh*

Are they poking some fun here? :)

the would be if it was some other snake. I don't think anyone in the
Deadly Viper Assasination Squad were diamondbacks.

Yes, that "theory" was posted on non-technical weeks ago, so OODesign is
very late.

Non-technical rules! ;-)

OODesign maybe late, but the design is superior, and is much more
maintainable, making it more efficient in the long run <g>

Yeah, but their theory is more extensible, maintainable, and re-useable

So is a Sidewinder, which was the codename for C#Builder. C#Builder was
released in May 2003.

Filming of Kill Bill started June 2002 and ended March 2003 (though it
wasn't released til October 2003). Make from that what you will <g>
