Hi

I need my application to be able to edit it's ini file in c:\windows.
It is a rather old app upgraded and expanded over the years, so if
possible i would like to keep the ini there for people with older O/S
etc. Otherwise if you think it should be changed to somewhere in all
users folder, tell me about it and how to go about. And if I put it in
an all users type folder, what versions of windows would it be
compatable with then?

Generally I would like to know how to give all users write acces to
c:\windows\myini.ini and to c:\Proram Files\myApp. The last one is for
some instances where the protected version of the exe creates temp
files in the same folder as the exe. Dont really know how to get around
that one.

Regards
