Hello,

I'm trying to compile a project on JBuilder 2005 using the JDK 1.3.1 that is included with Websphere 5.0. I have set my JDK to "java version J2RE 1.3.1 IBM Windows 32 build cn131-20021107" in my project properties path and have set my compiler to "Project javac". When I try to compile, I get the following error"

StdErr
javac: invalid flag: -source

It turns out that JBuilder 2005 automatically uses the -source option in its javac command. This option is supported by all JDKs 1.4.2 and up. Is there any way to get edit JBuilder 2005 to get rid of this option? Is there any way around this issue without having to update the JDK?

Thanks for your help,
Gary

Works for me. Probably a temporary problem with CodeCentral. Try again.

It works for me on Macintosh, on Firefox and Safari. It works for me on
Windows with IE and Firefox.

I'm thinking you have a BDN login problem. Try going to
http://bdn.borland.com and make sure you can successfully log in. Then
go back and try the download again.

Try Lori's way,
if you still can't get from CodeCentral then you can try there:
