Hi all,
I am using Indy 8.0.23 with Delphi 5 Ent. I have an embedded Httpserver In
my application which causes me some problems. After a couple of requests
(under load with 10 running IE) the HttpServer stops answering the requests
(I do, for testing purpose, sending a java-script to the browser which does
refresh the page after a time).
All I do is answering with a couple of dynamic created html pages. After
examining the source, I find, that the creation and destroying of the Thread
TIdPeerThread sometimes went wrong and the Server internally shuts down. I
have to restart my application to get it running again.
De- and Activating the Server doesn't do the trick. Does anybody know of a
problem with this in Indy80?
I have used the demo HttpServer which comes with Indy80 and done some
modifications to the source to fulfill my needs. The error can also be found
in the demoserver.
TIA
Andreas

That is a very old and outdated version that is no longer supported. Please
upgrade to the latest version, which is 9.0.14.

Hi,
normally its very difficult for me, to replace a piece of code or a
component set in my application, because i have to document all changes in
my software very briefly. (Due to regulations of the FDA). After all I have
now installed a test system with all the software and Indy 9. How do I tell?
All is working fine now. Many thanks and best wishes.
