FYI,

"Dear Attendee for the 2005 European Borland Developer Conference,

On behalf of Software & Support Verlag and Borland we would like to
advise you that the European Borland Developer Conference, scheduled
for 28-30th November, is being rescheduled to Spring 2006. The launch
of Delphi 2006 makes the Spring date more viable, giving you the
possibility to get even more of the latest information on the new
Delphi version.
The new date will be announced shortly but is expected to be the first
half of April, in Amsterdam."

Does this imply that we are faceing a 3 months delay in the release of
Delphi/C#/C++ 2006 ?

Anyone have any more information?

TIA,
frode

No, it doesn't. We're taking pre-orders at 15% discount, and the product is
scheduled to be available this quarter.

No, it simply means that since Delphi/C#/C++ 2006 will be available
later this year, and the European Borland Developer Conference will be
sometime in April next year, all the sessions can be about (and using)
the latest version of Delphi. It means that some of the session titles
(and contents) will have to be modified slightly to reflect this (and we
might even see one or two new sessions on topics that were previously
not covered).
