Witam

I have FB 2.0 RC2 installed. After installation it works fine, but when I restart my computer I get lots of errors in an firebird.log file. All are like the one below:

PIOTR (Server) Sun Jun 18 09:24:07 2006
INTL plugin conflict: WIN1250:WIN1250 defined in C:\Program
Files\Firebird\Firebird_2_0\intl\fbintl and C:\Program
Files\Firebird\Firebird_2_0\intl\fbintl

Since application I develop uses language specific codepage, this error results in an error while connecting to my database.

When I stop fbserver and start it again everything is fine (until computer restart). I don't have any other versions od FB or IB on my computer.

Please help!

Best Regards
Piotr

Since you are using a not-yet-released product (just a
ReleaseCandidate), the proper newsgroup to use is "Firebird Developer".
You can reach it from this page (among others):
http://www.ibphoenix.com/main.nfs?a=ibphoenix&s=1150662983:385113&page=ibp_groups

I've been lurking on that list, but have not seen a problem like yours
being under discussion. Try an uninstall, total cleanout of the
Firebird install folder (and check the Registry as well!), and then a
new install. If the problem persists, do post on the Firebird developer
forum.

I found the condition when this problem happens. When I have fbclient.dll i both, windows/system32 and application directory.

I guess it's a FB bug then. I'll try to find further proof by testing on some more machines and post it to a group.
