Help! I recently had to change computers, and on the new one I have 3 hard
drives. They are a physical C, D, & E. I am using windows 2k, C&D are NTFS,
and E is FAT32. I am running D6 sp2.

My drive D is restricted to myself and my wife (We have full access, along
with System, and Administrator). My Delphi files and DB Desktop are on the D
drive. My BDE Net dir path is pointed to D:.

My problem is any projects I create on the D drive with table components,
when trying to activate are giving me a "File not found" message. This is
happening in both Design, and Run time. I can open the table via alias in DB
Desktop, and view data, and create tables just fine. If I have the table
location on the C drive, no problem. I have tried even to change the
security to Everyone, to no success. I have the restrited D drive to keep my
kids off of it. (We do have independent logins). This happens on existing
projects (I have deleted all but the DPR, PAS, DFM and let it recreate the
RES file.), as well as new projects. The last thing I even tried was to use
the path (ie: D:Delphi ProjectsTest) in the Database section of the object
inspector, and selected the table from the table name drop down. This still
did not work either.

Does anyone have any ideas on what else I can try?

Thanks in advance.

That was the problem. The directory name.

Thanks Brian for the solution.
