I use ShapeLib, the readme says to go to:
http://gdal.velocet.ca/projects/shapelib/
but I'm not sure if I found it there.
It only gets data, but it is easy to draw the Polys from there...

They are both linked in the same order, so just throw in some BDE TTable &
the shapes & dbf info is in the same order in their files.

Take a look at DSpatial (http://dspatial.sourceforge.net/), ShapeLib
(http://www.triplexware.huckfinn.de/shpapi.html), or shape viewer
objects (http://www.ecostats.com/software/shapeviewer/svobjectsdelphi.htm)

Hello Jo Black,

I assume that is what ecostats already does, drawing the polygons. So I
don't understand your question. Can you explain a little bit more?

Hello Jo Black,

I never tried this, but it seems like you have to use a TSVOGISReadWrite
to get a copy of the dataset. This TSVOGISReadWrite maintains a
ShapeList, in which you can access the individual shapes (points, lines
or polygons). These individual shapes can then be examined through their
PointsLists, which are arrays of points (stored as x-double and
y-double). Haven't tried it, but from the help files seems to be doable.
