I am working on a multi tiered database application. the database is
Oracle 9i and the presentation layer is ASP.net developed using Delphi
2005.

The middle tier uses COM+ and object pooling and has been developed
using Delphi 7. Naturally it is a multithreaded application.

The problem which I am facing is that sometime (intermittent only),
when user clicks on a button, which is supposed to activate some or the
other pooled object, he gets the subject error message complaining
about the insufficient memory. though sufficient memory exists in all
the tiers and also there is no lock in the database etc. Also if user
clicks ok on error message and immediately retries the operation
(without changing anything), the application responds and works fine. I
have tried to check all the things i can think of including memory
leaks, deadlocks in threads, database locks etc but have not been able
to find the problem.

Can any of you OOPs guru please point me towards the possible culprit?

Thanks in advance
