|
|
hello ng,
a program i've wrote runs well under winnt 4 server and w2k server but
won't run under win2003 server - only an hourglass for 1 sec. is
recognizeable. so i decided to install my ide (cbuilder 5, updatepack 1)
on this maschine to debug my code.
unfortunatly i'm not able to debug my code. running my app in debug mode
is causing a info box "to many consecutive exceptions" before any of
my code lines are reached. even winmain isn't touched. the cpu window
displayed stops in ntdll.rtlpwaitforcriticalsection.
then i changed some project setting:
- deactivate dynamic rtl (tab linker)
- deactivate build with runtime packages (tab packages)
- delay load of mprapi.dll and dispatcher.dll
after this my app runs but is 600k larger.
my app is using mprapi.lib, dispatcher.lib (selfmade middleware),
tthread, ttimer, and indy components.
a very similar application w/o mprapi is working well.
i've no idea where the problem is. any comment to help me find a clue is
very very welcome.
tia
