Could Bob Dawson, Jim Cooper and anyone else who has input on OPF design
please come over to csharpbuilder.oodesign where adavid Clegg is trying to
get to grips with the concepts involved. I would be grateful for other
comments, ideas to help him

Hey, OO design is not reliant on W32 or .NET, and since I am officially the
TeamB member in charge of C#Builder, just be grateful that I hang around in
these non .NET groups <vbg>

Just because of that OO not be reliant on W32 or .NET,

your call for people from w32 to come to .NET group
is living proof that all that talk that of everybody is doing
..NET development is prematured.

I'm suprised that you misunderstod me.

I'm sorry, I did understand you but I think you missed the irony/humour in
my post, it is not always easy to joke in a culture/language effective way
:-)

Watch careful for the emoticons if you think you have been misunderstood
<vbg> means very big grin)

If I had my way, we would have an OOdesign group that was nothing to do with
language, but we still have to 'bend' design to accomodate differences in
languages. I would encourage OO people to watch both groups as they can
only benefit from all the ideas that will arise in them.

I agree on this. Borland tool at top level is not practical

to follow general programming discussions.

There is a need for Win32 API, NET framework,
X86, OO, C/S, GO Engine etc groups at top level.

IDE, language, install, deploy and those should remain.
