I successfully installed BCB 6 trial, but the palettes are missing.
The "Known packages" registry key is almost empty.
Repair installation does not help.

How to fix that?

Did you install while logged in as an administrator, or as a user with
admin rights? Not doing so can cause this problem.

You may want to search groups.google.com. This has been discussed
frequently in the past.

I had this under XP. I found that happened when I installed BCB5 when I
wasn't an administrator. Give yourself local admin rights and it should
install nicely.
