Hi,

I am writing an application that allows users to do an audio chat over
the internet. I am basically using ACM functions to achieve the
compression and Multimedia API (wave functions) to capture / receive
audio data. Data is transferred to the remote station using winsock. I
would like to record the conversation (2-way) as an file on the users
drive. I tried using the mmIO functions but achieved partial results.
The problem is that data is dumped in the receive / send buffers at
asynchronous intervals. So data that I write to the file using the
mmIOWrite function can sound garbled at times. Is there a better
approach to this? Am I overlooking something?

With regards,
