Hi,

i use D7 pro and ADO components. In design time i open my TAdoQueries for
designing the grid layouts and so on. But sometimes this gives exceptions
when program is started and active of queries was not set back to false
because of missing initialization. So i want to prevent dataset components
to become activ before the FormCreate event (where i make my
initializations) has occured. How can i do this?
I tried it with "abort" in the beforeOpen event, but this stops creation of
form, i tried to set active to false - did not work. Any ideas?

tia,
Helmut
