Hello all!

Since I am just beginning with componet writing, I wrote my first component
I installed it on the "Samples" tab. Then I made some changes and when I
tried to rebuild the source, the Linker announced me "[Linker Fatal Error]
Fatal: Could not open D:Archivos de
programaBorlandCBuilder6ProjectsComponentTstMioPackage1TBar.bpl.1
(program still running?)".
Does anyone knows how to "uninstall" and/or "reinstall" a modified
component?

Thanks,

Sergio.

How exactly are you trying to rebuild the source ?
The only thing you have to do is install the component again .
bcb5: Component - Install component.

.....
Just install the component in the same way as the firsttime
should do it.

Hans.

Well, now I tried "Component-->Install" as you suggested, then on the
window of the Package I selected the icon "Compile", and the Linker answers
with this message: "[Linker Fatal Error] Fatal: Could not open D:Archivos
de programaBorlandCBuilder6ProjectsComponentTstMioPackage1TBar.bpl.1
(program still running?)".
