I have Delphi 7, bought it when it first shipped. At the time, I used
emailias for spam protection, which means my email address was
something random, and I don't remember what it was specifically. Nor
do I remember the password I used.

I have since decided that it was too much hassle, and dropped
emailias. I tried to update most people that had emailias addresses,
but I guess I never updated Borland. So, basically, I can't log into
Borland to download updates or vote on QC or anything.

I did just try to reinstall Delphi, thinking that I might just
re-register it and see if I would be allowed to re-register. But I
got an error message saying my key is already registered. So, what do
I do to get this fixed? I did try sending an e-mail to
"accountmgr (AT) borland (DOT) com" and I got no response.

Do you know if that address exists or are you just guessing? Try to ask
in the .install group. That is monitored by Borland.

Aaaargh! I answered too quickly. Sorry Paul!

Anyway, a phone call might do better, PERHAPS. I'll ask for the correct
email address (if not someone already posted it before).

From Borland:

888-588-2230 Product Registration
800-331-0877 Customer Service
800-523-7070 Developer Support

These are the US numbers. For any other country, please see our
web site(s) and specifically for registration issues there should
be a list of numbers in the "phone registration" part of the wizard
that asks you to register.

The customer service account should be used instead.

Somewhere on the community login page, (or was it the product
registration form, I don't remember) but somewhere I got a screen
saying that questions should be addressed to that e-mail address.

Right. That account is now being monitored again, if my information is
correct. But that wouldn't help you w/ a registration issue.

customer (DASH) service (AT) borland (DOT) com should work.

http://www.borland.com -> Support -> Customer Service

leads you to

http://support.borland.com/

On the menu on the left, choose Customer Service, and then, depending on
where you are:
- Americas
- EMEA (Europe etc.)
- Aisa-Pac.

Since you are in Canada:

http://support.borland.com/customer_service/default.asp?Region=Americas

Which gives you:

customer <dash> service <at> borland <dot> com

YAY!

A more logical answer, but mine was funnier. :-)
