It's basically a toolbar/tool palette that `floats' in the client area. The user can reposition it and it just stays put. It isn't perfect (what is?) but they generally stay out of the way. Regular tool bars (I'm currently using three!) are Ok but they can interfere with the client area. Thanks for any help...
