|
|
Hi,
every time I modified build.xml, whenever running make/rebuild, JB_2005 is
recovering back the build.xml.
I'm wondering how to let JBuilder use only the customized build.xml, and how
to just run a targer in this build?

Thanks
John

Are you reusing the Message Pane's run button? If so, close that
and start a new run/debug from the toolbar's buttons. I'm not sure
but it has happened in the past that especially for Web Run/Debug
operations, the tab in the Message Pane does not pick up changes
to the runtime config. We (TeamB) have always advised that the best
practice is to simply close the Message Pane's tab associated with
your process in order to be sure that new configs are picked up.
This may be a best practice for ANT targets as well.

Depending on which version (and maybe edition) of JBuilder you are
using, you should be able to expand the "build.xml" file in the
Project Pane to reveal the target nodes. Right-click on your
desired target and choose either the Make or Debug. That should
do it.

Finally, please send responses to the newsgroup only.
That means, do not send email directly to me.
Thank you. |
