|
|
Is there a way to get the name of the video card someone is using even
if they dont have there video drivers installed? The reason I am asking
is that I am finding a lot of people who are using a Delphi application
I have written (which uses OpenGL) are using Microsofts default drivers
and not there video card vendor drivers resulting in a 10x decrease in
frame rate. Most of these people I have chatted with have no idea what
video card they have so if there was some way to detect the video card
without reference to the drivers, that would be great. I know you can
use the OpenGL command glGetString(GL_RENDERER) but this returns the
video card based upon the drivers installed.
Thanks. |

Hoi
Interesting question, but you need to repost your question on the Borland
