Hello all,

I have a problem. I am using ADO components of Delphi 7 to connect to MS SQL
Server 2000. I want to enable the connection in read only mode so that no
writing to a database is permitted. I have tried setting the Mode property
of the ADOConnection to cmRead. But still no use. If I try to create a table
, the server shows message "ODBC driver does not support this property "
but still the table is created.

How to prevent this?

Thanks & Regards,
