Greetings an all....
The truth is that I don't have too much experience, and I need to know
as creating an application that allows me to receive mail notifications
in a popUp, such and as he/she makes it Gtalk, msn...
You that it is built using component Indi but I want to know like I
make to create a thread that stays in second plan and notify the
arrival of a new mail.
Thank you for their help.... |

Greetings....
If the connection can establish it ussing a client idPOP3 I assign the
parameters and it connects, and to receive the messages utilize a
TidMessage, both taken out components of INDY, thank you.... alone it
is question of assigning him/her the correct values of the servant,
user's (or email) name, password, and with the idMessage I obtain the
messages,,,,,
The timer uses it to call to a function CheckNewMail, which verifies if
the mail is different from 0 with a property of the idPOP3, this is
made every so often....
Thank you...
pdta: There are a functional example of the use of the idPOP3 and other
component INDY in:

excuses for the not well English one ........... |
