I have a medical billing program that I wish to protect. Rather than tying
this to the machine, How would one tie it to and entry in a certain field.
For example, I wish to license this based on the providers name.

One thought is to do a Key on the providers name based on some algorithm and
send back and unlock key. As long as the provider Name stays the same, then
he can move it to any machine or even take it home and install it on his
home computer.

Any software that can do that?

Thanks for the input,

Any strong encryption algorithm will work for that. Many encryption
algorithms have been implemented in Delphi. A Google search should give
you a selection.
