|
|
I installed C++Builder 6, and after that I installed Delphi 7. Now, when I
start BCB, it tells me that the name of the registered Just-in-Time debugger
needs to be changed in order for debugging to work. I agree to let it make
the change, but debugging still doesn't work (it worked fine before I
installed Delphi). Any ideas on being able to use both BCB and Delphi
debugging (not at the same time)? Thanks.

I do this a lot when switching from Builder 5, to Builder 6, and
VisualStudio and it works. Are you sure you have the compiler settings all
checked for debugging in the project? Maybe verify they are checked and
force the project to build again just to make sure all the debug info is
built.

I've checked my debugger settings. In Project | Options... | Compiler, the
three debugging options are checked. In Tools | Debugger Options...,
"Integrated Debugging" is checked. On the General tab, only Show inherited
is checked. On the Event Log tab, everything is checked except Window
messages. On the Language Exceptions tab, everything is checked (including
two "Stops" at the bottom), except CORBA User Exceptions. On the OS
Exceptions tab, the choices are User program and Run unhandled.
I did force a Build of the project, then set a Breakpoint in the FormCreate
and other places, but the program didn't break. I appreciate the
suggestions. Is there anything else I should do?
