Hi,

I use a DBGrid in master/detail to display one record for additional
information as a user selects records in the master table. I like the
grid format for data presentation, but I always have scroll bar showing
even though there is never more that one record to display.

I couldn't find a property to to change, is there a way to remove the
vertical scroll bar (I never need the horizontal bar, and it never
shows up) programatically?

Hello,

You could use the Infopower DBGrid from Woll2woll software. It has far
more possibilities that the standard Borland DBGrid. Also hiding the
scrollbars. (www.woll2woll.com) I have good experience with that,

Thanks. That's one way I could go, but as I already have license for
the DevExpress grid I'd probably use that. I am currently updating my
app with the DevEx grid, and I noticed the DBGrid behavior. I have no
need otherwise to convert that grid, so I was just hoping that there
was a way I could dump the scroll bar without conversion.
