|
|
I am using C++ Builder 6 Pro. Have searched all the Options dialogs
and the documentation, and can't find an answer, can someone help?
When I select File->Open Projects, I want BCB the File Open dialog to
automatically be set to my default directory for projects, which is
d:programmingc++
Similarly, when I first save a project, I want the Save As dialog to
default to the same directory, d:programmingc++
Anyone know how I can change Borland's defaults?
Thanks in advance for all replies.

To paraphrase an old joke, I wouldn't be so paranoid if everyone
wasn't busy ignoring me....
Don't know why this question got 0 responses, unless it's that no one
else knew the answer either. But since I finally did find the answer,
I'll offer it myself, in case anyone else does a Google on this
question. And the answer is...
You can't set the default project path for File -> Open or File -> New
Project from within BCB. What you *can* do is go in the Windows
Explorer to the icon you use to open BCB, right click on it, and
select Properties. In the "Start In" field, enter your desired
project path.
You can all thank me later...
