|
|
Hi to all, I built a ActiveX-Form an registered to the registry.
Then I added this component to the palette like "Component-->Install ActiveX
controll-->"nameOfMyActiveX-Controll"-->Install". After this the component
can be used.
But when I change and rebuild the ActiveX-Control, these changes has no
impact to the imported component. Because of this I tried to "reinstall"
this component, but the error "A class named 'nameOfMyActiveX-Control' is
already installed" appears.
What do I have todo to applay this changes?
Regards,
Adrian

You can open the package you installed the component into, remove the
imported CPP files and rebuild the package- this will unregister the
component. Then you can re-import the new version and rebuild the package
again to reinstall the component.

Great, problem solved...
I've tried this before too (but I did it wrong). I only deleted the .dcr
file and
rebuilt the pachake (so the component was still registered and re-import
failed).
Thanks a lot for this advise
