|
|
I'm running Windows XP Professional and have a Web server setup (not for the
outside world) and I have a directory that only has admin permission. That
directory contains Word documents and has "Directory browsing" enabled. The
directory is http://localhost/admin/. I can view the directory just fine
with IE, but I have an application that needs to read files from it using
HTTP and that returns 401 errors, even though I am logged in as
Administrator. I've tried providing a username and password but still 401
errors.
I would simply read it without HTTP but eventually this will be on a remote
system.
What can I do to get it to authenticate? I'm using D7 and Indy 9
Any help is greatly appreciated.
