Guest Posted: Mon Jan 17, 2005 9:33 pm    Post subject: trouble importing ocx, error 800A01A9 I have an ocx that I would like to import into delphi. The import completes without any problems, but no component is generated for the palette and when I look at the _TLB.pas file there are only declarations for the interfaces, but not the CoClasses.I found a very similar problem listed on this group years ago (at http://tinyurl.com/6aj7f) but no resolution. The ocx was originally written in VB, I believe. I have tried to work around the lack of CoCreate wrappers by using CreateComObject() directly, but then get the error 800A01A9 after I create the object when I try to use any methods or properties. Any suggestions?
