It seems unlikely but is there a chance that socket server may be causing it? There is a known threading bug in socket server which tends to surface on SMP systems. I don't know if it's causing what you describe, but it's the first thing I'd try if you're using a SMP or hyper-threading CPU. Quote: Is it included in Delphi7?
