|
|
Hi, all,
I download and install JBuilder 2006 trial.
In the feature matrix of JBuilder 2006, there is a new feature "Build On Save".
What is this? Just like eclipse do? How it work?
The code seems not be built when the java file saved when I try in JB 2006.
Thanks.

Well, I found the UI to turn it on. Under Project Properties, select
Build in the left pane. "Build Files After Saving".
Weird thing is, you get NO indication that this does anything when you
save a file. But I checked to make sure it was working by giving my Run
config a build target of "None", and then I changed a file, saved it,
and did a "Run". No build was visibly performed, but the change was
reflected in the running code, so... it must have worked.
Weird.

Yes, it works!
I don't think it is weird. Eclipse do this for a long time.

I don't think the feature is weird. I think it is quite useful. But
the fact that you can't even tell if it is working is weird.
