I've configured WL8.1 server properly it seems, but that doesn't enable the items. I'm using JBuilder Enterprise 9.0.125.0. Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance. Simeon Not only do you have to configure WebLogic, but you have to select it as the application server for your project. Project | Project Properties. I'm still a bit unclear: Don't I create an EJB module before creating a project? I thought that was the sequence. I'm planning to have a structure where there's a a project group under which there are multiple projects: regular Java projects, web, ejb projects, etc. Thanks. If you are creating an EJB Module, you have to have a project open in which to put it. You have a project group, and it can contain many projects. Each of those projects can have zero or more "modules" in them, whether they are web modules, ejb modules, web services, archive modules, whatever.
