|
|
Hi,
i have installed Jbuilder 10 enterprise for linux :
it has a builtin Optimize it. the documentation for optimizeit deals
with optimizeit as if its a seperate entity or a seperate program.
the only way i can work with optimizeit is through jbuilder run menu
and the documentation at many points sasy : now open optimizeit but
doesnt tells how, well on windows it would have been much simpler and
might not need any help, but on linux its a little difficult.
cqan anybody tell me
1) how do i run optimize it in linux red hat 9 without opening jbuilder
because fom jbuilder if you run optimize it you cannot configure teh
filters as ther is no file>> settings its just a option box and some
options are missing
2) if its already embedded in jbuilder how do i set up filters for
optimize it how do i edit settings as the pane that opens up through
Run>>Optimize does not give me tabs like filters or virtual machines or
some fields that the documentation asks me to fill like hostname:
3)what the hell is "Setting up audit" there is not much explanation
about audit, they just start setting up the audit without formal
introduction.
i would really appreciate if anybody can give me some info on these topics.
thanks in advance
sar

Do you want to try reposting this in the borland.public.jbuilder.linux
group? I try to run a version of JBuilder on Linux, but it's usually
the Foundation version, just so I have a reference copy of that running
somewhere. Most of the serious Linux users (aka - those using
Enterprise on Linux) hang out in the .linux group.
