think of Algebra.
functions and process blocks etc.

What part seems difficult?
Programming is just verbalizing a plan in exacting detail with a
language made up of about 60 words and symbols.

You'll pick it up in no time. The initial parts of learning to program
won't really make much sense until you get into calling one function
from another. Then procedural stuff will become more logical as your
mind begins to "take it all in".
You'll do just fine if you keep focused on what your learning.
