I have just installed JB2005 Developer update ( I had JB Developer 9
installed )
but the help file( I beleive it is Borland\JBuilder2005\doc\jdk_docs.jar )
seems to be old -
it refers to Java Std.Ed. 1.4.2 rather than 1.5 as I expected, even the jdk
that come with the
installation is 1.4.2 not the 1.5
How can I obtain the right help file for my JB 2005 Developer?

JB2005 supports development with JDK 1.5, but runs on JDK 1.4.2, and the
documentation bundled with it is for JDK 1.4.2.

Please recall that JB 2005 was released BEFORE JDK 1.5 was officially
released.

If you configure and use JDK 1.5 (including source and docs) with
JBuilder, then you can access the documentation for JDK 1.5 by opening
up the relevant source file, and then using the "doc" tab.

This problem has already been reported to Borland. We are waiting for a

Lori,
Six months later, I get the same problem. Was there ever any fix
suggested?

It was fixed within a couple of days the last time.

Have you looked at and followed the steps in this FAQ (disregard the
reference to JB X, it works for 2005 as well)?
