I downloaded the source package from synedit.sourceforge.net and
unziped it into disk, it has following directory tree:
synedit
source
packages
demo
syngen
I went to the 'packages', opened the 'SynEdit_R2005.bdsproj' into my
delphi 2005, compile is ok with a light warring said some variable
never used, so I think it is ok.
after compiled it, I tried to install the package, then it showed that
cannot be installed because it is not a design-time package. Could
anybody help me to solve this problem? I think I must make something
wrong, because I search the web and seems like nobody report this
problem. |

This newsgroup do not officially exist, that is why there is so few
messages here. Rather use b.p.d.thirdpartytools.general. Further you need
to repost your question on the Borland news server to make everybody see
it.
