I store the settings in an ini file (size is small - less than 5 k). Are there any documented cases in which some "corruption" may occur regarding ini files ? For example if my app is killed by Windows XP during shut down while the app writes to the settings file ? Do you have any advice on how to make my application store settings more reliably ?
