BorlandTalk.com Borland discussion newsgroups   Archives   FAQ   Search   Memberlist   Usergroups   Register   Profile   Log in to check your private messages   Log in  Delphi 6 Enterprise - XP Action Band / Update Install Probl          BorlandTalk.com Forum Index -> Delphi ObjectPascal View previous topic :: View next topic   Author Message Sparky Guest Posted: Tue Jan 23, 2007 12:22 am    Post subject: Delphi 6 Enterprise - XP Action Band / Update Install Probl Hello, I am attempting to migrate to using ActionBands and ActionToolBar I was getting excited by my new found actionbands so I tried to install Steve Trefethen's demo for XP style action bars, and Delphi 6.02 ActionBand updates and have come unstuck: Any help as to why these will not install would be very much welcome :( (1) Problem #1 - Failed to install "XP Style Action-Bands" ; after following instructions the install fails with following error: << Entry Point Not Found>> "The procedure entry point @Actnman@TCustomActionBar@DoDropCategory ......could not be located in the dynamic link library dclact.bpl" (2) Problem #2 - Failed to install "Post Delphi 6.02 ActionBand Fixes (Delphi 6 only Pro and above)". When I run the Update program, the install log indicates it is not updating the action packages as they are the wrong version. However, I have run all the updates available (General Update 2, RTL update 2 and 3) that are applicable for the Enterprise version), and the Delphi About confirms this as "Delphi Enterprise Version 6.0 (Build6.240) Update Pack 2". Sample Log: Skipping file: c:\program files\borland\delphi6\Bin\dclact60.bpl File already updated to version "6.021" Skipping file: c:\program files\borland\delphi6\Lib\ActnCtrls.dcu File is not expected version "6.02" Skipping file: c:\program files\borland\delphi6\Lib\ActnMan.dcu File is not expected version "6.02" .........
