I am still using Delphi 5, and I thought I heard a rumor that Delphi 7 comes
free with Delphi 8. Is that correct?

And secondly, can one install Delphi 8 Enterprise UPGRADE overtop Delphi 5
Professional? I don't need the Enterprise version, but someone I know is
selling an unused copy of Delphi 8 Enterprise upgrade and was wondering if
it was worth taking advantage of?

Comments?

Thanks.

I believe that it depends on the edition of Delphi 8. You should

probably ask the seller to confirm before buying.

Yes you can install 5, 7 and 8 all at the same time.

Be carefull. Delphi 8 is not Delphi 7 or Delphi 9. Delphi 8 is a .net
only beta version without Win32 capability.

Hi, if you are still interested in upgrading, and you didn't take up the
other persons offer, I have a Delphi 8 Professional for sale which
includes a full version of Delphi 7 Professional on separate CDs.

It's boxed, entirely unused and unregistered. It was bought a couple of
years back to ensure we had license compliance for a job.

I've posted more details in borland.public.delphi.non-technical if you're
interested.

Cheers
Rob
