|
|
I had a problem with my delphi 5 installation which was causing problems
with interbase express components. I have reloaded the updates to Delphi 5
and everything seems fine except that the interbase express components do
not stay active when I close down Delphi. I have manually go in and Install
packages and check the checkbox beside the interbase express components
everytime I restart the program.
Any ideas.
I also have Delphi 2006 installed on the same machine but until this week
there has been nothing to indicate that would be related.

You have probably set answer no to an "do you want to reload the next time"
question one of the times you were having problems. This adds a registry entry
in the disabled packages key. You will need to manually remove that key using
regedit to have things stick after you answer no to that question.
