Hi,

We used Delphi 6 Ent with IBX that came with it for our app. Recently
we upgraded to D2006 Pro. I also installed IBX 10.11, but the problem
is as follow:

In the database there are fields of type DECIMAL(10,5)

When we execute queries (IBQuery), these fields are of type FMTBcd and
the SetAsVariant method in IBSQL cannot assign the values of these
fields to the parameters. The variant type is 272 (which is a custom
type) and the SetAsVariant method throws an exception to this.

Is there a workaround to this? Maybe it can assign a type double
precision to these fields rather that FMTBCD? How would one fix this?

Also, should we want to make changes to the IBX source how does one go
about recompiling it?

Thanks
