Hi All,

I use my PC at home and laptop at work. Can a single copy of D2007 be
installed on both or is this prevented by the internet registration system?

regards,

I have not read the D2007 licence yet, but traditionally the Delphi

licence has been a personal licence. Which means you can install the
product on more than one PC as long as you are the only one using it.
You have a number of registration "slots" (exact count is a well-kept
secret) you can use as long as you always register using the same CDN
account (e.g. to reinstall Delphi on a PC after a Windows upgrade or
disk crash or other problem that forces you to reinstall the product,
or on a VM or different PC). Once those are used up you have to call
customer support to get the count reset.

Thanks Peter,

Have been a Borland user since Turbo Pascal days. Glad to see that the
*spirit* (think it was originally called something like Borland's
no-nonsense license) behind the products hasn't changed over the years.
Guess like many, I do the basic design on my PC at home and then fine-tune
and connect to the server at work via my laptop.

Regards,
