But I only seem to have the version 3 stuff installed? I'm also having trouble with Vista as it says it can't find the dll when I try to connect using the DBX3 Dlls. It turned out that the Firebird dll that I needed, fbclient.dll, was not installed. I assume the same would happen for the Interbase driver as well (gds32.dll). Strange message though! When connecting to a MSSql server my system uses driver dbxmss30.ddl. Does this mean I'm using DBX 3?? In my case it's the mySQL driver but the DLL is actually present. I have tried moving it somewhere else and updating the ini file, but still get the same problem.
