Hi All,

We recently upgraded to D2007 and one of our applications has stopped
functioning with dbExpress errors. Everything worked fine in BDS 2006.

The setup:
* Brand new PC with only BDS 2007 on it. Never had 2006.
* One MSSQL connection to SQL Server 2005
* One DbExpCA400 (3.0.05) conection to i5 (AS/400)

The errors:
* Initially we found that the DbExpCA400 connection could not be enabled at
all. It would complain about not finding the sql server, or access denied.
Oddly enough, if we changed the MSSQL connection to also connect to the i5
then both would allow a connection.
* After playing with some ideas I found in QC (FOldFileHandle and dummy
Isolation) I was finally able to get both connections to connect at the same
time. Now, whenever the application tries to access the i5 I either get the
cannot find/access denied errors or this gem:
EcwbError: cwbCO_Connect returned error code 11001. Server error class 0
code 0.

I have scoured the folders on the PC and only one copy of each DLL is in
existance. They each seem to work ok independently. I have been working on
this for over 6 hours today with no luck. Putting this kind of time into a
working application is driving me nuts. The change requested should have
taken 5 minutes.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
David
