|
|
We're using BCB6.
In order to control colors and position, we display the caption on title bar
of
our forms via DrawText() on a canvas. Up till WinXP no problem.
However in Windows Vista (bussiness ed), with Theme in Display Properties
(<Start><Control Center><Appearance and Themes><Change the computer's
theme>)
set to 'Windows Vista', no text at all is displayed on the title bar.
When Theme is set to 'Windows Classic' the text is displayed as usual.
Any suggestion how to solve this?
Thanks in advance,

After more searching, I do now realize that I have to deal with the Vista
Aero Glass and DWM bussiness.
There is an interesting article on:
http://www.codeproject.com/vista/VGGlassIntro.asp
However I can nowhere find the files dwmapi.h and dwmapi.dll on my machine
to start with.
Any suggestion how to proceed any further?
