If I were to upgrade from BDS 2005 Architect to Delphi 2007 Enterprise and purchase the software assurance, would I be eligible to receive the next release of BDS 2007 (code named Highlander?) when it comes out ? Yes, but the question might be whether you'd get BDS 2007/Highlander Enterprise or BDS2007/Highlander Architect. You'd best contact CodeGear sales to double-check if you want to get ECO and whatever other goodies they stuff in the Architect edition. Nick Hodges, Delphi Product Manager, has said Delphi/BDS are all in the CodeGear RAD Studio family, and Software Assurance will cover any and all releases in the family.
